The stamps in the Polka Dot Punches stamp set from the Sale-a-Bration catalogue all coordinate with some of our punches in the regular Spring/Summer Idea Book and Catalogue. I’ve put all the shapes here for you. Take a look:
The Star shape can be punched with out 5 petal punch on page 184 of the New Spring/Summer Catalogue and creates a perfect 3-D image when you punch it out and add to your project or card.
The Heart shape can be punched with our new Full Heart punch on page 184 of the New Spring/Summer Catalogue. This makes punching hearts so much faster!
The Circle with loops around it can be used with our Scallop Circle Punch on page 184 of the Spring/Summer Catalogue. When layered they have the perfect look.
Lastly we have the flower that can be punched with any of the large Circle punches. This size is perfect for the 1-1/4" Circle Punch and for more of a border, you can use the 1-3/8" Circle Punch.
This very soft elegant card was also created with a Sale-a-Bration set – Botanical Blooms. The Flowers are attached with Stampin” Dimensionals to give it a 3-D effect and the flowers seem to POP off the card. Here is the full supply list to create this card:
Supplies:
Cardstock – Pink Pirouette 5-½” x 8-½”, Bella Rose DSP 2” x 4-1/4”, Basic Black 2-1/4” x 4-2/4” and 2-1/2” x 3-1/2”, Whisper White 2-1/4” x 3-1/2” and scrap
Other – 8” Striped Pink Pirouette Ribbon, Dimensionals
Notes: Stamp outline of flower onto white square of cardstock. Stamp bold image with pink pirouette to fill in. Stamp Outline image onto scrap of white cardstock. Ink up bold image with pink pirouette, colour center with Rose Red marker, huff and stamp to fill in outline image. Cut out second set of flowers stamped onto scrap cardstock and attach to card with dimensionals.
This card is so elegant and yet was very simple to make. The heart stamp from Polka Dot Punches was used to create the focal piece and the background on the largest square of black. By rotating the image it filled up the piece and created the design. Heat embossing with gold powder finished this card.
I plan to use it for Valentines Day right now and for wedding and anniversary cards this year as well. These stamps coordinate with the same shaped Stampin’ Up! punches and makes cutting out the images easy-peasy. Polk Dot Punches is FREE with a $60 purchase until March 31st. But you will want it now with Valentines just around the corner.
