Can you believe that there are only 3 more days to shop from the Occasions Mini Catalogue? I made this card using some of my favourite products from the mini – the Fun Flowers Bigz die, the Framed Tulip embossing folder and the First Edition Specialty designer series paper.
This card was inspired by a dress my niece was wearing on Easter. Sorry the picture is so blurry but I hope you can spot the pink flower on the black and white background.
As soon as I spotted the dress, I knew that I needed to make a card using the same theme.
I cut out multiple flowers in Rose Red and Regal Rose using the Fun Flowers Bigz die and scrunched them up before fastening the center with an Antique Brad.
I hope you like it!

For this Simple Saturday card, I wanted to share another sample made using the Four Frames stamp set and Paisley Petals designer series paper.
I think what I like most about this stamp set is the many different looks you can create. Every card I have shown this week has been unique yet they have all been created with the same basic products: the Four Frames stamp set, Paisley Petals designer series paper, the Say it Simply stamp set and the Decorative Label punch.
To make this card, I stamped the polka dot frame onto Marina Mist cardstock with Marina Mist ink. I punched an Old Olive oval for the center and then added a greeting of Marina Mist ink on River Rock cardstock. I cut the ends of the greeting piece into flag ends. Finally, I added a Marina Mist button tied with linen thread to this piece.
The card was created with layers of Marina Mist, River Rock and Old Olice cardstocks with Paisley Petals paper. This pattern s a very subtle design in River Rock. Assemble the card by adding the frame and you’re done.
TIP: To ink up the Four Frames stamps, place the stamps image side up on your table and apply the ink pad to the stamp. This helps keep the middle of the stamps free of ink.

This Four Frames card is a bit of a step up from the ones earlier this week. I wanted a richer, more elegant card and decided to dress the card up with vellum, satin ribbon and an antique brad.
I heat embossed the roses from the Elements of Style stamp set with white embossing powder onto vellum paper and then layered onto an Old Olive pattern from the Paisley Petals designer series paper and Whisper White and Old Olive cardstocks.
I stamped the rose frame from the Four Frames stamp set (doesn’t this image match the larger one nicely?) onto Old Olive cardstock and embossed with white embossing powder. After punching the stamped image out with the Decorative Label punch, I added it to the card above pinched Old Olive satin ribbon and an antique brad.
I really like the way this card turned out. It just might be the Mother’s Day card for my Mom.

This is the second Four Frames card that I made to share with you this week. I used most of the the same supplies as yesterday including the Paisley Petals designer series paper except instead of ribbon I used an Old Olive button to embellish the card.
Have I mentioned how much I love this stamp set? It is simple to use and really versatile. Although the changes to the card are small the vibrant patterns on the Paisley Print paper create a unique looking card.
For this card, I stamped the bird in a frame image from the Four Frames stamp set in Basic Black ink and then added “thanks” from the Say It Simply stamp set. If you buy the Four Frames stamp set make sure you add Say It Simply to your order as well.
Then I punched out the stamped image with the Decorative Label punch and attached it to my card of Basic Black, Whisper White and this pretty Paisley Print paper in various greens. Once I added a button with cardstock thread. I was done. A true 10 minute or less card!

The Spring is Blossoming promotion continues!
For the month of April, you can purchase the Fours Frames stamp set and Paisley Petals designer series paper with a $25 minimum purchase. Both the stamp set and paper are from the upcoming Idea Book & Catalogue and will not be available again until July 1st, 2011.
I am working on a bunch of samples using the Four Frames stamp set and Paisley Prints paper so check back often this week.
This card was sooo easy to make. I simply stamped a greeting from Say It Simply inside one of the frames from the Four Frames stamp set and punched the image out with the coordinating Decorative Label punch. Have you overlooked the Say It Simply stamp set on page 41 of the Occasions Mini catalogue? I have used this stamp set so much lately and it’s only $9.95.
The card itself is Cherry Cobbler with Marina Mist and Bashful Blue cardstocks. I created a scallop edge at the bottom of the middle piece using the Tasteful Trim die for the Big Shot.
The highlight of the card is the Paisley Petals designer series paper. The papers in the package are wonderfully bold and striking designs. The colours included in this paper are: Baja Breeze, Cherry Cobbler, Chocolate Chip, Marina Mist, Not Quite Navy, Old Olive, River Rock, Soft Suede and Tangerine Tango.
A bow of Cherry Cobbler Seam Binding to “tie” it all together and my card was done.
I find it really easy to create with the Four Frames stamp set and Paisley Petals designer series paper from the Spring is Blossoming promotion. Order yours today and don’t forget to add the Decorative Label punch and Say it Simply stamp set to your order.
