Joyful Christmas Card with Burnishing

I love to add color to my cards with burnishing. This simple technique using sponges or sponge daubers allows you to control the application of color as well as the intensity of the color.

Starting with the darkest color, Cherry Cobbler, at the center, I worked my way out lightening to Strawberry Slush and then Pink Pirouette. I applied the color outside the edges of my white embossed image and also added color around the outer edge of the cardstock.
