This card is so elegant and yet was very simple to make. The heart stamp from Polka Dot Punches was used to create the focal piece and the background on the largest square of black. By rotating the image it filled up the piece and created the design. Heat embossing with gold powder finished this card.
I plan to use it for Valentines Day right now and for wedding and anniversary cards this year as well. These stamps coordinate with the same shaped Stampin’ Up! punches and makes cutting out the images easy-peasy. Polk Dot Punches is FREE with a $60 purchase until March 31st. But you will want it now with Valentines just around the corner.
Supplies for card:
Cardstock – Real Red 5-½” x 8-½” and 2” x 2”, Basic Black 2” x 2” and 2-3/4” x 2-3/4”, Gold 2-1/8” x 2-1/8” and 3” x 3” , Very Vanilla for insert 3-3/4” x 5”; Stamps – Polka Dot Punches, Congrats; Inks – Gold Encore; Other – Gold Embossing Powder, Heat Tool
