Stampin' Up! Matchbox Messages

Isn’t this a geat way to use up your scraps? Here I used the Cottage Wall Designer Series Paper but cardstock would work as well. This technique is called Herringbone from the Technique Junkies newsletter.  I love the colours in the paper – Rich Razzleberry, Orchid Opulence and Old Olive.

Although this technique can be a little time consuming, the finished card is worth it.  And the background created needs just a small image or greeting to finish the card. I stamped an image from the Matchbox Messages stamp set with Rich Razzleberry ink and layered the “just a little thanks” onto punched pieces of cardstock.

If you want to learn new techniques and make fun projects, make sure you check out My Events Calendar and register today for a class.
