Cajun Craze Artistic Etchings

Cajun Craze is a new Regals Collection color. I wasn’t sure that I would like this colour but I really do. I can see both red and rust in Cajun Craze. And as you can see by the colour comparison below, this is going to be a fabulous colour for Autumn.

And today’s card is real quick and easy one. By using layers of punches, it was fast to create.

I stamped the large circle image from Artistic Etchings three times and punched with various circle punches – 1-3/4″, 1″ and 1/2″.  I then punched circles of Cajun Craze cardstock in slightly larger sizes – 2-3/8″ Scallop Circle, 1-1/4″ and 3/4″ circles and layered with stampin’ dimensionals.

I added a greeting from Thank You Kindly to the Whisper White cardstock with Cajun Craze ink and layered it onto a Cajun Craze card. On top of that, I added a second layer of Cajun Craze cardstock topped with Whisper White cardstock that was embossed with the Square Lattice embossing folder for the Big Shot. I coloured a length of Whisper White satin ribbon with the Cajun Craze ink pad to finish the card. See this post for instructions on dyeing the ribbon.

Although this card would look good in any colour, I think the Cajun Craze was a good choice.

And don’t forget, you can order Cajun Craze and all the other new catalogue products starting July 1st at 2 pm Eastern, Noon Mountain and 11 am Pacific. I can’t wait!
