It’s A Wonderful Year

When you page through the Stampin’ Up! Holiday catalogue, I’m sure that the Wonderful Year stamp set is not the first one you noticed.

But take a second look!

The bold scripted greetings in this stamp set make great focal points for your cards. Whether stamped on the front or inside the card, the images in this stamp set add a classic and festive quality to your Christmas cards.

 The two small half scallop images – which can be two-stepped stamped together – make a great border.

Here I stamped five images along the left side with Basic Gray Archival ink.

After stamping the greeting image with Basic Gray Archival ink. I added a watercolor wash on top with Pool Party ink and an Aqua Painter.

 A trio of silver sequins add some sparkle.

 For this card, I used card stock in Basic Gray, Smoky Slate, Pool Party and Very Vanilla.

The Pool Party card stock was embossed with the Cable Knit Dynamic Textured Impressions Embossing Folder.
