I have always loved pocket cards because they are just a little different. When the recipient has to interact with the card – in this case by pulling out the insert – the card is more personal.
To make this card, I cut out two pieces of Chocolate Chip cardstock with the medium sized Envelope Liner Framelit for the Big Shot. I adhered the two pieces together with sticky strip on the three outer edges so the insert fit in easily.
I embellished with a couple of patterns from the Sweater Weather designer series paper which coordinated with my colors for this card – Chocolate Chip, Soft Sky and Crushed Curry.
Locally our weather is gorgeous but the feel of fall is definitely in the air in the mornings. Not to mention the yellow leaves. Start planning for your fall and Thanksgiving cards and projects by adding the Truly Grateful stamp set to your wish list today.
The Envelope Liners Framelits Dies make liners to insert into the Stampin’ Up! envelopes. In three sizes, they fit square, notecard and medium envelopes.
This is the insert piece which measures 4" x 4". The wheat was stamped in Crushed Curry (isn’t this image gorgeous?!) and the greeting in Chocolate Chip.
Wouldn’t these make great place cards for Thanksgiving dinner? Place on one each plate and have each person fill out what they are thankful for.
The magnetic platform will hold your Framelits and Edgelits in place when you cut.
