Flower Fantasy Printed Window Sheets

Flower Fantasy Printed Window Sheets

I really wanted to make cards using the new 12″ x 12″ Printed Wndow Sheets, Flower Fantasy. You can see them on page 169 of the new catalogue.

Although they are the perfect size for making scrapbook pages, I wanted to use the window sheets for cards. And I did! I was able to create 5 cards in various sizes from one sheet.

To embellish the cards, I used Fleurettes II, white 5/16″ brads, Playground Designer Buttons, Rich Razzleberry polka dot ribbon and white taffeta ribbon

I hope you like them!

The finished size of this card is 8″ x 3-3/4″.

I attached the smallest Fleurette with a white brad and wrapped the Rich Razzleberry ribbon around the card, polka dots down. The white taffteta ribbon was tied on top. I hid the mini glue dots adhering the window sheets to the Certainly Celery cardstock underneath the embellishments.

The finished size of this card is 4-1/4″ x 5-1/2″.

I inserted a white brad into the largest size Playground Designer Button and adhered it on the Razzleberry ribbon tied with the white taffeta. Doesn’t it look like a lifesaver candy!?

The finished size of this card is 5-1/2″ x 5-1/2″.

As on the other cards, I stamped the greeting with the Teeny Tiny Wishes stamp set in Rich Razzleberry ink on Whisper White cardstock  and punched with the Word Window.

I then layered the greeting onto Rich Razzleberry cardstock punched with the Modern Label punch.

The finished size of the card on the left is 3″ x 3″. The finished size of the card on the right is 4″ x 4″.

I love reversing the Rich Razzleberry polka dot ribbon to a solid colour ribbon. It makes the ribbon so versatile. To embellish these cards, I used the small flower button from the Playground Designer buttons and another small Fleurette

Things I Love …

Things I Love …

Things I love…my list would have to include Coach handbags and Starbucks lattes to be complete!

I also love this stamp set! What fun!  This set is appropriately called Things I Love, $20.95, item#115229, page 54.  What a great price! And we girls who love to shop, love a bargain!

I used the Chocolate Chip Patterns designer series paper in addition to Real Red, Chocolate Chip and Certainly Celery and Whisper White cardstock.

The images were stamped and the punched with the 1-1/4″ circle punch and layered onto a 1-3/8″ circle. The final touch was a bow with the new 1″ double-stitched grosgrain ribbon in Real Red.

Fifth Avenue Floral Double Slider Card

Fifth Avenue Floral Double Slider Card

I can’t stop using the new In Colors! Don’t you love them?

This card uses Bermuda Bay, Melon Mambo and Crushed Curry with the Fifth Avenue Floral stamp set. The card is bright and perfect for summertime!

This movement card type is called a Double Slider since two pieces of cardstock slide out of the top of the card when the ribbon is pulled. It is alot easier to make then it looks. Let me know if you want the instructions.

Top Note “Twist”

Top Note “Twist”

I love this “twist” on the original Top Note shape!

Today I want to show you two awesome shapes that can be made by adapting the way your put your paper through the Big Shot using the Top Note Bigz Die, item# 113463, $29.95, page 198.

The first card makes a medalion shape when you turn your cardstock one quarter each time you cut.

The second card makes a square shape when the die cuts the same piece of cardstock after a single quarter turn. How simple is that!

The stamp set used is the new Greenhouse Garden set pictured on page 94. It is a very versatile two step stamping set, item #113824, $34.95 for a set of 10.

The One-Minute Card

The One-Minute Card

I love these new Elegant Notes. They are only $13.25 for 15 cards with envelopes, #116459, page 168.  They are so simple to embellish and really did take only a minute.

After stamping a Teeny Tiny Wishes greeting, I tied ribbon around the card and adhered a scrap of designer series paper behind the cut out design. That’s it!

The cards shown here feature Rich Razzleberry, Bermuda Bay and Soft Suede.
