This beautiful Greenhouse Garden card – page 94, $34.95, set of 10 – was given to me at Convention by Donna Smith, a member of my Dreaming About Rubber Stamps team. I appreciate Donna because she always gives me the best advice – about kids, my business, stamping and more!
I love the way she used the greens of Certainly Celery and Old Olive with the blue of Bermuda Bay. The colours work so well together.
Donna created a background with the Bella Toile stamp and sponged around the edges. The flowers really stand out with the Bermuda Bay stamped on top. And a Bermuda Bay greeting from the Fifth Avenue Floral stamp set completes the stamping.
The Naturals White pieces of cardstock were layered onto Chocolate Chip cardstock and a piece of matching grosgrain ribbon “ties” it all together. What a great card. Thanks Donna!

Can Simple Saturday be simpler? This card has no stamping athough a Christmas greeting could easily be included.
The colours in the Holiday Lounge designer series paper , page 162, may be a little non-traditional but the colours are fabulous together. They include Taken with Teal, Ruby Red, Sahara Sand and Basic Gray.
The patterns in this designer series paper work well as backgrounds for your Christmas cards or in this case, as the card image itself. I cut the paper to just one row of trees and then embellished the card by layering and adding a few accessories.
The base of the card is Basic Gray, then I layered a piece 1/4″ smaller in Kraft and then a 1/4″ smaller piece of Taken with Teal. The trees are layered onto Kraft and Basic Gray pieces 1/4″ larger.
Finally, I added three clear Rhinestone Brads in the middle size. The Basic Gray tafffeta ribbon was adhere to the back on each side and then two pieces of Kraft Taffeta ribbon were tied around the Basic Gray piece. A quick and easy card! If you start your Christmas cards now, think how ready you will be by December!

I love the simplicity of this mono-chromatic card. And I love this new set from the catalogue!
By using just one colour, Crushed Curry, I was able to focus on the message in the greeting. The stamp set Herb Expressions – page 55, $43.95, set of 8 – has four wonderful heartfelt greetings.
I stamped the main image with Crushed Curry ink onto Whisper White cardstock and layered onto a piece of Crushed Curry cardstock that is 1/8″ larger than the Whisper White piece. The I layered again onto a piece of Whisper White 1/4″ larger. The greeting is also layered onto a piece of Crushed Curry cardstock 1/4″ larger.
The base of the cardstock is Whisper White and has a piece of Crushed Curry Patterns designer series paper layered onto it. I love my patterns dsp because they make layering easy and really finish a card nicely.
Lastly, I embellished with Crushed Curry Polka Dot Ribbon and three white neutral brads. The image was attached with Dimensionals to add some height over the ribbon.
Another quick and easy card that let’s you express personally how much someone means to you.

Don’t you love the shadowing on this card?
By stamping the Upsy Daisy image (page 95) twice, first in Pretty in Pink and then moving the stamp slightly and stamping a second time in Rose Red ink, this shadow was created. It really helps highlight the image.
Rose Red 1″ Double Stitched Grosgrain ribbon was wrapped around the card and adhered on the back. As an embellishement, I punched a Large Oval, folded it in half and inserted a Jumbo brad. To finish, I stamped a greeting from Teeny Tiny Wishes (page 145).
