This Simple Saturday card features the Contempo Christmas stamp set. Right now, and subject to change, of course, this stamp set is my favourite set for making Christmas Cards.
To keep my card making quick, I used only Baja Breeze ink and cardstock with the Whisper White cardstock. Almost any colour would work for this card.
The layer of Baja Breeze cardstock was cut down by 1″ from the size of the card to 4-1/2″ x 3-1/4″. The Whisper White cardstock is 4-1/4″ x 3″. I stamped the greeting onto a 1″ x 3″ piece of Whisper White cardstock, layered it onto Baja Breeze and attached it to the card.
I stamped the ornament and punched it out with the coordinating Ornament punch. If you want, you can punch out a second ornament from Baja Breeze cardstock and put it underneath the stamped ornament. I attached this piece to the card with dimensionals.

Isn’t this little Halloween Treat Bag cute?
I used the Spider Web embossing folder on a Mini Lunch Sack. These “just right” sized bags can be seen on page 13 of the Holiday Mini catalogue. My first try at embossing them was not so good but you can learn from my mistakes. A couple of tips: remove the bottom liner from inside the bag and fold the bottom of the bag down so the embossing folder can fit the entire bag. Also, if the sandwich is to tight, the bags can tear so do not use a shim and you may want to even step down a tab.
I stamped the adorable witch from the Fang-tastic stamp set in Basic Black ink and coloured her with Rich Razzleberry, Pumpkin Pie and Old Olive inks using a Blender Pen. Once the witch was finished, I punched her out with the 2-1/2″ circle punch.
Next, I stamped and punched the greeting and added a Glimmer Brad in Pumpkin Pie.
The final touches were Rich Razzleberry grosgrain ribbon and a strip of Wicked Fun designer series paper on the bag.
Scroll down to see how I made a closure for the bag using the oval greeting piece.
