Happy First Day of Spring! Spring makes me think of colour after months of white and dreary. And a fast, fun way to add colour to your cards and projects – Brusho Crystal Colour.
For this card, I stamped the butterfly from the Beautiful Day Stamp Set (Wood 145912, Clear 145915) in Basic Black Archival ink 140931onto Shimmery White Cardstock101910 and added three colours of Brusho Crystal Colour 144101 – from left to right – Brilliant Red, Gamboge and Yellow.
Creating watercolor washes with Brusho is so easy and I love that every one is unique.
With Brusho, you can create solid colour blocks or a speckled effect with a little less water. Use an Aqua Painter for a more saturated look or a Stampin’ Spritzer for more white space.
Watercolour ink crystals—Sprinkle them directly on water-washed paper and watch the colours burst!
Package includes 5 pots – Brilliant Red, Gamboge (orange), Moss Green, Prussian Blue, Yellow

A Basic Black Butterfly from the Bold Butterfly Framelits and a bow of Basic Black Solid Baker’s Twine complete the card.
To make the rainbow, cover the outside edge of the card front piece with torn post-it notes and then colour with the Stampin’ Blends from the outside into the middle.

At the top of my daughter’s Christmas Wish List was a hedgehog. This Hedgehugs stamp set is probably not quite what she expected but they sure are cute (and much easier to take care of).
If you have been wanting to create with the new Stampin’ Blends, this card uses only Crumb Cake and Cherry Cobbler and is a great way to try them out. I know you’ll love them!
I do recommend that you purchase the color lifter as well as it is great for corrections and for lifting color from hedgehog tummies.

I continued the Crumb Cake theme in the accessories – Linen Thread and White Perfect Accents. The accents were coloured with the Stampin’ Blends marker for a perfect match.

Feel the need to celebrate? Then this is the card for you.
The supersize greeting from Great Big Greetings makes sure everyone know of your intentions. I also added a grid background from Timeless Textures (wood 140514, clear 140517).
Heck Yes! Make a statement with this congratulations card. This card is appropriate for anyone you wish to give it to but also makes a fun masculine card for the men in your life.
