Who cares what the question is! Cake is the answer …
I love the fun greetings included with the Piece of Cake stamp set. A photopolymer stamp set with 21 images, this stamp set is perfect for the birthday and wedding cards you need.
Bundle the stamp set with the Cake Builder Punch and let the creating begin.

For this card, you will need the following cardstock:
- Highland Heather 5-1/2″ x 5-3/4″
- Smoky Slate 3″ x 4-1/4″
- Whisper White 5-1/4″ x 4″, 2 pieces of 4″ x 2-3/4″ plus scraps for punched image
- Gingham Gala DSP 5″ x 3-3/4″
Score the Highland Heather piece 1-1/2″ in from the 5-1/2″ edge so the card size is 5-1/2″ by 4-1/4″. Add the Whisper White and Gingham Gala layers.
Stamp the cake and stand onto scrap pieces of Whisper White and colour with the Smoky Slate and Highland Heather Blends. Cut out with the punch.
Stamp the “Happy Birthday” greeting onto the first small piece of Whisper White below where the punched images will go. Stamp the “cake” greeting onto the second small piece of Whisper White and colour the heart.
Assemble the card as shown adding mini dimensionals under the punched pieces and rhinestones as shown.

I am not gifted with a green thumb. My brother once told me that if there was a society for the prevention of cruelty to plants he would have no choice but to report me.
I try. I really do. But I think I either don’t give my plants the attention they need or I over love my foliage.
I’ve sought help. Those who don’t suffer from my affliction offer advice like “try a fertilizer”, “more sun, less sun”, “water more, water less” or “change the soil”. It’s to no avail.
So, I have decided to focus on the flowers I’m good at – those made from paper.
There is no way a real orchid would survive with me as caretaker so I was thrilled to create one with the Climbing Orchid stamp set and Orchid Builder Framelits Dies.
Early Espresso and Daffodil Delight are the main colours used on this card with a little Old Olive added in for the leaves. Other than the stamped center, I coloured the flower with Stampin’ Blends.
The background features the Ruffled Dynamic Embossing Folder and the Wood Textures Designer Series Paper Stack. If you are looking for a paper workhorse, the wood grains in this package really do it all.

A dimensional or two placed between the orchid layers really adds a lot to this card.

No one will ever call me a farm girl but the Home to Roost stamp set was at the very top of my Sale-a-bration wish list. I just love this rooster. You can choose to colour him as I did for this card or not.
Sale-a-bration is a great time to start collecting the Stampin’ Blends Marker Combos.
These markers are high-quality, alcohol-based, dual-tip markers available in lots of exclusive Stampin’ Up! colours. Each colour comes in 2 shades to give you the best blending experience.
Priced at $12 per set, order five sets and you will receive a free Sale-a-bration Level 1 item. For this card, I used Rich Razzleberry, Cajun Craze, Bermuda Bay, Poppy Parade, Night of Navy and Crumb Cake to colour the rooster and Basic Black to colour the rhinestones.
This card also uses the Botanical Butterfly Designer Series Paper another great choice for your free Sale-a-bration item. Coloured on one side and black and white on the other, this paper is a beautiful and whimsical option for your card making.

Direct to paper is a technique that skips the stamp. Simply use your ink pad to apply colour directly to your card stock or paper to personalize your projects.
You can ink up just the edges or use the ink to add a distressed texture to an embossed paper like on this card. No matter which way you apply the ink, start with a light touch. You can always add more ink.

I have to confess that if given the choice between coffee and tea, I will choose coffee every time.
But as a kid, I remember that on Sundays after church we were allowed to drink tea. There was at least as much milk as there was tea in the cup but it was still a big deal.
And tea cup stamps hold a special memory for me as well. The very first card I ever stamped used a tea cup stamp. It will be twenty years in May but I still remember the feeling of accomplishment. I was so proud of that card and amazed that I had made it. I had no idea where my newfound love of paper crafting would take me over the next two decades.
During Sale-a-Bration, the Tea Time Framelits are free with a $120 pre-tax and shipping order. And you’ll want to make sure that your order includes the Tea Together stamp set that coordinates with the framelits.
Mix and match tea cups and teapots with different sized flowers to create elegant cards. Included in the stamp set are three greetings including Happy Mother’s Day.

I stamped the small flower from the Tea Together stamp set three times onto Watercolor Paper with the Memento Tuxedo Black ink and let dry for a minute or two. Them using an Aqua Painter filled with water, I picked ink up from the stamp pad lids. To prevent the colors from becoming muddy, allow each color to dry before adding the next. As an example. I colored all the flower center in Daffodil Delight and then the leaves in Lemon Lime Twist. Once the leaves and centers were dry, I colored the flowers – one each in Flirty Flamingo, Calypso Coral and Balmy Blue.
