With each annual catalogue, Stampin’ Up! introduces a new In Color Collection featuring five new colors. And this years colors may be the best ever.
My favorite color is lime green and I have been hoping for ink and card stock for a long time. And here it is – Lemon Lime Twist. I feel as if this color was introduced just for me. It makes me so happy.
The other four colors are also strong additions to the current line up of colors. These colours work well teamed together and also in combination with the current colors.

It was love at first sight.
I’m not sure if it was the versatile images or the amazing accessories or the designer series paper but as soon as I saw the Color Theory Suite, I knew it had to be mine.
Check out pages 146 – 147 of the brand spanking new catalogue to see all the products in the suite including the stamp set and thinlits bundle, ribbon, enamel dots, card pack and more.

I paired the Dapper Denim with the Copper Foil Sheets for a richer look. You don’t need a lot of the metallic paper as these pieces are almost scrap sized. You do save all your scraps, right?

Think of the cards you can make with the Color Theory DSP Stack – 4 colors, so many designs!
48 sheets: 4 each of 12 double-sided designs. 6” x 6”

Since the 2015-2017 In Colors will be retiring soon, I decided to use a combination of three of them for this card. I created the background with an Aqua Painter and inks in Watermelon Wonder, Delightful Dijon and Mint Macaron on watercolor paper. I’m definitely going to miss Watermelon Wonder the most.
I cut out the large flower and “hope” from Gold Foil Sheets using the Sunshine Wishes Thinlits. I also added a greeting from Sunshine Sayings and splatter from Gorgeous Grunge both heat embossed in gold.
If you haven’t already, stock up on extra cardstock and paper and be sure you have the ink refill for your favourite retiring 2015-2017 In Colors – Watermelon Wonder, Delightful Dijon, Mint Macaron, Tip Top Taupe and Cucumber Crush.

There is lots of gold on this card – Gold Foil, Gold Emboss Power and Gold Sequins. I think adding a metallic always takes the card up a notch.

I love the look of medallions on cards so decided to make this one with the Moroccan Nights stamp set and various circles. I keep the colour combination simple with Tip Top Taupe and Mint Macaron.

Don’t Miss Out! The 2015-2017 In Colors will be on the retiring list that is coming April 10th. And every year I hear from customers that waited too long and weren’t able to order ink refills and stock up on cardstock for the retiring in colors. We know that Cucumber Crush, Delightful Dijon, Watermelon Wonder, Mint Macaron and Tip Top Taupe will be on the Stampin’ Up! Retired List and sell out quickly so order today and avoid being disappointed. The inks, refills, cardstocks, papers and embellishments in these colors will sell out quickly so please order your favorites now while there is still stock.

I created the medallion with the Layering Circle Framelits Dies and Circle Punches before adding Pearl Basic Jewels embellishments.

I think this chick is so fun and Suess-y. I used Brights for this card – Daffodil Delight and Bermuda Bay. The background was made with the Hexagons Dynamic Textured Impressions Embossing Folder.

Keeping with Brights to coordinate with the Enamel Shapes, this card is Tangerine Tango and Daffodil Delight. The greeting was heat embossed with White Stampin’ Emboss Powder.
