These cards were ridiculously easy to make. I mean, really – cut the paper and cardstock, stamp one image and assemble. That’s it. Done!

I love dandelions! This paper was stamped in Chocolate Chip ink and adhered to a Delightful Dijon card.
A bokeh background with Old Olive ink and cardstock. Bokeh is a photography term used to describe the out of focus blur on photos.
A photo of clouds and sky needs to be stamped in blue. So Island Indigo it is.

The Make A Medallion photopolymer stamp set is free with any $60 or more purchase only until Friday as part of Sale-a-bration 2017.
This first card is super simple – Basic Black, Basic Gray and Pool Party inks and cardstocks. I stamped the image that has the center first (gray) so it would be straight and then stamped the second image (black) on top. The greeting was embossed with White Emboss Powder and cut out with the Classic Label Punch.
To finish the card, I colored a few Pearl Basic Jewels with a black permanent marker.

And now for something a little different.
I stamped only the second image onto Whisper White cardstock and heat embossed with White Emboss Powder and VersaMark ink using the Heat Tool. Then using Sponge Daubers, I added Pool Party, Bermuda Bay and Island Indigo inks.
The stamped piece was layered over Island Indigo cardstock impressed using the Seaside Textured Impression Embossing Folder.
In addition to the Vellum, I added lots of silver accents to this card – Silver Emboss Powder, Silver Metallic Enamel Shapes and Silver 1/4″ Natural Trim

I shadow stamped the three Avant Garden flowers for this simple card. First I stamped the image with Flirty Flamingo, cleaned the stamp with the Scrub and Mist and then stamped again slightly off of the first image with Watermelon Wonder ink.
Watermelon Wonder flowers were stamped at an angle before topping with Whisper White cardstock cut at the same angle.
I cut the top piece to 4″ wide and 4-1/4″ high before using my paper trimmer to cut the angle allowing for a 1″ space. Then I layered the cut piece on top of the piece I was going to stamp on and and pulled the pieces back just a bit. A faintly drawn pencil lined helped keep the flowers aligned.

Isn’t this a great masculine card? I think if would work well for celebrating those milestone birthdays, too, you know – the big 4-0 or old fart kind of birthdays.
This card was shared with me by Carolyn W. I’m doubly blessed because she is a good friend and also a demonstrator. We have the best of both worlds – coffee dates and and stamping together.
To make this card, I embossed the word “HAPPY” twice on a piece of Basic Gray 5-1/4″ x 4″ cardstock, once on the top and once on the bottom. I guess technically it is debossing since the Celebrations Duo Texture Impressions Embossing Folder presses the words into the cardstock. I adhered the embossed piece to a 8-1/2″ x 5-1/2″ folded Smoky Slate cardfront. The Whisper White middle piece is 4″ x 2″ and has HAPPY debossed in the center.
The Happy Celebrations stamp set greeting was stamped with Basic Black Archival ink on a piece of Whisper White cardstock 3/4″ wide. I fishtailed the edges with the Triple Banner Punch before adding White Perfect Accents coloured black with a Sharpie marker.
Although this card would work well with any colour combination, I really like the grays together. Thanks for sharing this card, Carolyn.

Builder Birdcage was not the stamp set at the top of my Occasions catalogue wish list but after using it a few times, I like how unique and different my cards are using this stamp set.
I watercolored the background in Crushed Curry, Flirty Flamingo and Watercolor Wonder before stamping the birdcage with Basic Gray Archival ink. Then I just added some gold embellishments and polka dot designer series paper to complete the card.
Today was one of those lazy Saturdays that I love. After a quick trip to Starbucks for my favourite drink, I came home and spent time making cookies – Oatmeal Raisin for Phil, Chocolate Chip for Alex and Gingersnaps for Liam.
While the cookies were baking, I spent some time stamping. And this evening, I’m going to start the new Meredith Duran book that I’ve been saving for a night like tonight with no distractions.

Another clean and simple card using only Night of Navy and Whisper White. I added some paper from the Floral Boutique Designer Series Paper pack as a focal point.
I made the butterflies tag with the That’s the Tag stamp set and Timeless Tags Thinlits Dies Bundle. I like how simple to use these tags are and the interesting shapes – a classic oval, large flower, sunburst, butterfliies, stars, leaves and a small flower. Think of all the possible card and projects using only these thinlits together in different combinations.
But then I decided to step it up a bit and created a second version …

Here is the stepped up version using Copper – Copper Foil Sheets, Copper Metallic Thread and Copper Embossing Powder.
To make the copper doily, I added VersaMark ink to one of the Lace Doilies by tapping the ink directly onto the doily on the white side. Then I added Copper Embossing Powder and heat embossed with a Heat Tool.
