I love this geometric tree from the Twinkle Trees stamp set in the new Holiday catalogue. It’s perfect for making simple cards like this one.
I stamped the tree and greeting in Basic Black Archival ink before adding the colours using ink refills and a dauber.
The card is Basic Black with layers of Whisper White and Bermuda Bay.

To make the larger splatters of colour, wet your dauber with water before picking up the ink refills. I placed a few drops of Pool Party, Bermuda Bay and Wild Wasabi inks on a clear block and then picked up the colour with the wet dauber and applied it to the tree.

There are so many signs of Fall recently. The kids heading back to school, the leaves changing colour and of course, the Pumpkin Spice Latte at Starbucks. I had my first one yesterday, yummy.

Totally Trees is a great set of 27 two-step photopolymer stamps. They are varied and versatile so you can create a wide range of cards that are all unique. My next newsletter will feature three more Totally Trees cards.

For this card, I used Delightful Dijon, Tempting Turquoise, Old Olive, Rich Razzleberry and Early Espresso. With an Aqua Painter, I watercolored the four first four colours onto Shimmery White card stock allowing them to dry before adding the next. Shimmery White is a great choice when watercoloring as it is a bit thicker and takes water really well.
Then I overstamped the tree. To finish, I added a Thankful Thoughts greeting and Linen Thread. The greeting was raiser above the thread with dimensionals.

Got the Blues?!
Sometimes getting the blues can be a good thing. For this card, I partnered up Bermuda Bay, Island Indigo and Pool Party with Basic Black and Whisper White. Definitely one of my favourite colour combinations.
Making a collage card is easy, peasy with the Touches of Texture stamp set. I simply stamped the flower in Basic Black ink across the Whisper White card stock. TIP: Remember to always start and finish off the edges of the card stock.
Next, I over stamped the flowers with the blue centers. This set was very forgiving and I didn’t worry about being precisely centered or even in the same direction.

I love using Vellum card stock on my cards as an accent. Do you have some in your paper stash?
I stamped the Suite Sayings Stamp Set greeting on the vellum with Basic Black Archival ink and allowed to dry for a few moments before adding a White Perfect Accent coloured with a black Sharpie marker. Be sure to colour the accent while it is still attached to the packing sheet so you don’t get marker on your card.

There are a few textured backgrounds to choose from in the Touches of Texture stamp set.
Can you see the two different images I selected? One is more of a splatter and the other more of a canvas or fabric finish.

I’m always looking for stamp sets are fun and work well for masculine cards. And the Pun Intended stamp set is both.
This stamp set is available at a special price to those who place a $200+ order. You can use your earned rewards to purchase any or all of these six exclusive sets or your choice of catalogue product.
I kept this card simple in black and white for a bit of an old time feel for this Father’s Day card. It would make a great Happy Birthday card as well.

The camera image was stamped three times and then cut and punched out in various sizes of circles. I adhered Stampin’ Dimensionals between the punched layers to make the camera lens stand out. I also raised up the greeting. Since the Thoughtful Banners greetings are photopolymer, you can arch the greeting right onto the acrylic block.

For me, the highlight of this stamp is the matching images and greetings.

Dapper Denim is one of the five new In Colors for 2016-2018. For this card, I paired it with the Swirly Birds photopolymer stamp set which is also available as a bundle.
I created the tag with the Scalloped Tag Topper Punch and added Dapper Denim Ruched Ribbon. I then added the tag to the card with Stampin’ Dimensionals.

And copper is back! I love this new embossing powder and there is metallic thread to match.

This card was quick to make with the Balloon Celebration Bundle that includes the stamp set and Balloon Bouquet punch. I also used the retiring Birthday Bouquet Designer Series paper. Once I selected the paper, I kept the same colour theme for the balloons.

I attached the punched balloons with Whisper White Twine and Stampin’ Dimensionals.
