The Woodland Textured Embossing Folder makes a great background for the stamped branch and ornament from the Among the Branches photopolymer stamp set.
Gold and white are the only two colors on this simple card.

Gold Foil Sheets for both the “Noel” from the Wonderful Wreath Framelits and the larger 2-1/2″ Circle Punch are highlight of the card.
The gold also carries through to the heat embossed images using gold embossing powder and the gold cording trim.

I took a break from stamping Christmas Cards yesterday to make this Lighthearted Leaves thank you. It was a quick card to make with the 2014-2016 In Colors available separately or as a card stock and inks bundle. The colors I used were Blackberry Bliss, Tangelo Twist and Lost Lagoon.

Not sure how well you can see the scored lines on either side of the card stock piece with the stamped images.
I used the scoring blade included with the Stampin’ Trimmer to added a line above and below the stamped piece. It’s simple to do and adds a little extra definition to the card.

Some days I think I am losing my mind. I stamped the wreath from the Peaceful Wreath stamp set in Mossy Meadow ink and colored it with the same color of ink and an Aqua Painter. Then, I used a Real Red Marker to color the berries. So far, so good.
I carried the stamped wreath over to my Big Shot to cut it out with the Wonderful Wreath Framelits. Now the wreath from the stamp set and the wreath framelit both have a guide so you can line them up easily. Yeah, not so easy for me.
While moving to my work station to cut out the wreath, I somehow must have turned the piece upside down. You don’t want to know how long it took me to line up the two.
But it was worth the frustration because I love the rustic look of the finished card. And I definitely learned to pay more attention when moving around my stamping space.

I used 5 pieces of Linen Thread to make the bow. I held the pieces all together and tied at once which was a little tricky but I like the look of the bulkier bow. The Triple Banner Punch was used to make the fishtail end on the greeting.

In my 12 weeks of Christmas newsletter yesterday, I featured a window card that I had made with the Lots of Labels Framelits. And, of course, I couldn’t just throw away the center pieces that I had left over. As I looked at the different tag sizes side by side I thought they would make a great tag card.
A break from Christmas themed stamping was required so I decided to use the Summer Silhouettes stamp set. And for colors, I picked Crumb Cake, Early Espresso and Bermuda Bay.
After stamping the various images onto the larger tag, I added a “thank you” greeting from the One Big Meaning stamp set to the smaller tag.
As I placed the two tags on the card, I realized I needed “more”. So I added a layered tag of Early Espresso card stock behind the smaller tag and used the Brick Wall embossing folder on the Crumb Cake card stock.
The card still needed something else so I punched an Elegant Butterfly from Bermuda Bay card stock and added that to the top corner. A few Neutrals Candy Dots and a length of Early Espresso Seam Binding attached with a staple and I was done.

I’m really happy with how this card turned out. I love the mix of colors, textures and the different heights I get from using Stampin’ Dimensionals. And I like the way the different sized tags work together on this card.
I really need to clean my stamping space today. I’ll be sure to keep an eye out for other scraps and throwaways just waiting to be on my next card.

I needed a feel good card and what says that better than “you rock”.
The In Colors were calling to me so I decided to use Tip Top Taupe. Delightful Dijon, Watermelon Wonder and Mint Macaron for the card. I pulled the Delightful Dijon from the Bohemian Designer Series Paper.
You can purchase this set as a bundle with the Hello You Thinlits Dies which is how I cut out the “you”. And I love being able to match the expressions in the thinlits with the words from the Crazy About You stamp set. I stamped ROCK in Watermelon Wonder ink and punched it out with the Word Window punch.
To keep the color theme, I added 1/4″ wide strips of Mint Macaron and Watermelon Wonder card stock underneath the flower.

I stamped the flower twice – once with Mint Macaron ink and once in Versamark and then heat embossed with white embossing powder. I punched the white flower with the Flower Medallion punch and the Mint Macaron flower was punched with the 7/8″ Scallop Circle.
There center is made with Watermelon Wonder card stock and the Itty Bitty Accents Epoxy Stickers.

From October 19-23, you’ll save 15 percent off the retail value of stamps. It’s really that simple, and it’s really that exciting, so don’t miss out on this limited-time sale!

I love sets that include lots of images that can work together or stand on their own to create different looks.
The Awesomely Artistic stamp set fits my requirements. This is a set of 9 that has both bold images as well as images that can be used to create backgrounds. It is great for creating collage cards but you can also use the flower, leaves and dragonfly on their own. And this flower image even works great for coloring or even watercoloring as I did for this card.
I stamped the flower onto watercolor paper with VersaMark ink and heat embossed with white embossing powder. Then, using an aqua painter I added Bermuda Bay, Mint Macaron and Wild Wasabi inks.
With the splash image, also included in the set, I overstamped with the same colors of inks.

To finish the card, I made a banner with Crumb Cake card stock and the Project Life Cards & Labels Framelits. On the banner, I stamped Friend in Bermuda Bay ink.
I added a Very Vintage Designer Button with a bow of Linen Thread to the end of the banner.
This is a great versatile stamp set to purchase right now as it is 15% off like all of the stamps.

Until October 23, you’ll save 15 percent off the retail value of regular priced stamps.
Purchase those stamps from your wish list or save even more with the Starter Kit. For only $125 including shipping, you can choose $155 in products including stamp sets at 15% off.
