Every celebration needs balloons! And it’s so easy to add balloons to your cards when the Celebrate Today Photopolymer stamp set and Balloons Framelits Bundle does all the work.
To make the balloons, I coloured on the back of vellum card stock with a sponge dauber using Crushed Curry, Bermuda Bay and Calypso Coral inks. I found that I got better coverage rubbing in a circle than just back and forth.
After cutting out the balloons with the framelit, I stamped the stars image form the stamp set onto the balloons with Silver Encore ink and heat embossed with silver embossing powder.
I stamped the greeting with Memento Tuxedo black ink before adhering the balloons with mini glue dots.
To finish the card, i added the balloon strings with the thin tip of a Basic Black marker and a few Basic Rhinestones.
Easy peasy and fun for kids and grown ups!

Gorgeous card. How did you adhere the vellum without the glue showing?
I used three mini glue dots per balloon adhering them behind the silver embossing. I always try to hide them behind an embellishment or whatever works best.
