Definitely Dahlia Layered

Summer this year has been busy, busy, busy! It’s been so hard to find time to stamp. I did order some new favorites from the catalog and cleaned my office top to bottom so I am ready to get back to creating.

On of my new favorites is this background stamp, Definitely Dahlia. You know I love big images because they do all the work.

After stamping the flower twice – once as the background and a second time as a piece I cut to 2-1/2″ x 2-1/2″ – most of the work was done. I layered each image onto Gold Foil and Watermelon Wonder card stock and added a greeting from Tin of Cards.

I distressed the edge of the larger piece of Whisper White card stock a bit with scissors just to show off the gold foil a bit better.

To finish the card, I added three White Perfect Accents colored with a gold sharpie marker.
