When stamping with metallics like silver or gold, a little goes a long way. Using white or another neutral colour helps to show off the metallic colour.
For this card, I heat embossed the one of the greetings from the Flurry of Wishes Photopolymer stamp set onto the middle of the card and created a peek-a-boo circle with the 1-3/8″ circle punch for the gold embossed snowflake. Stampin’ dimensionals added height between the two Whisper White layers.
The layers underneath are Gold Foil Sheets and Winter Wonderland Designer Vellum Stack paper.
I definitely use embossing powders to create Christmas cards more than any other type of cards. But with results like this, I understand why. Quick and easy elegance.
