I have to admit this was a bit of a test my patience card. I needed to allow drying time for the scrunched flowers when I really just wanted to get the card done. But Sophie, my canine stamping buddy, stepped in to help.
She somehow managed to adhere herself to a roll of glue dots and by the the time I picked all of the glue dots off the dog and made her a grooming appointment, my flowers were dry. Is it just me? Do you ever have stamping days like this? Sigh.
This card uses the Grateful Bunch Bundle that includes the stamp set and the Blossoms Punch. My colors were Lost Lagoon and Pear Pizzazz. I stamped the images onto the Whisper White card stock and then used a Blender Pen to color in the leaves and flowers with ink. Don’t forget to stock up on Lost Lagoon and the other retiring 2014-2016 In Colors while you can.
The tag was made with the Ornate Tag Topper Punch and is 2″ wide which fits perfectly. And the greeting was punched with the Triple Banner Punch. I can’t believe how often I reach for this punch.

Have you ever heard a stamper say that they weren’t sure when to stop. There is such a fine line between the right amount of white space and going too far. I know I have crossed the line a time or two.
The best of the best tool for just the right mix of color and white is a background image stamp set. And the fantastic new Timeless Textures can’t be beat. I love this stamp set for filling in the backgrounds an highlighting the stamped image. You’ll want this stamp set as your helping hand.
