This card took a bit more time but I like the result! I used the Greenhouse Garden stamp set – $34.95, #113824, Page 94 – a set I don’t reach for often enough. And it is a great deal! With 10 stamps in the set, you are only paying $3.50 a stamp.
I stamped onto the Brushed Silver cardstock with Pixie Pink and Pink Passion craft pads and used the Heat Tool to speed along the drying time. Once the inks were dry, I stamped the second set of images with Whisper White craft ink and heat embossed with white powder.
Since I wanted the card to be shine, I used direct to paper, applying the VersaMark pad onto the silver cardstock covering the entire surface. Clear embossing powder went on top of the VersaMark ink and was heat embossed after shaking off the excess. I applied a second coat to even it out.
Finally, I layered the silver piece onto Whisper White and Pixie Pink cardstocks. A greeting band was made using “thanks” from the Thankful Thinking stamp set with silver embossing powder.
Hope you like it!
