Flipping through the catalog for the first time, I was immediately drawn to the Noble Peacock Suite. I’m not sure if it was the rich colors or the peacock or the amazing accessories but I knew I wanted to order this bundle first.
This suite includes the Royal Peacock Bundle with stamp set and dies, Beads & Baubles Embossing Folder, Designer Series Paper, Foil Sheets, Old Olive/Pretty Peacock Reversible Ribbon and new Rhinestones. Wow! So many options to create card, home decor, scrapbook pages and 3D projects.
And for perfect placement of the feathers, I recommend using the Stamparatus.
I think the Noble Peacock Specialty Designer Series Paper was what first caught my eye when I was looking through the new catalogue. I love the rich jewel-tones in this pack – Blueberry Bushel, Old Olive and Pretty Peacock – and the various foil accent designs on the papers,
For this card, I added a couple of products not included in the bundle, the Stitched Nested Labels Dies and Pretty Peacock Stampin’ Blends. If you are collecting the Blends, there are six new color sets available now.
I started this card by stamping the peacock in Pretty Peacock and then adding the stamped feathers layer in Granny Apple Green. I colored the body of the peacock with the light Pretty Peacock Blend. And then cut out the image with the Detailed Peacock Dies. I adhered the stamped image to a Stitched Nested Label cut out with Dimensionals.
The card itself is Pretty Peacock with a Whisper White cardstock layer embossed with the Beads & Baubles Folder. The next layer is the Old Olive DSP cut 5″ x 2″.
I added the Reversible Ribbon and Rhinestones as embellishments before adhering the card together and attaching the greeting.
