Flores Suaves! You may not recognize this set as it is from the Stampin’ Up! Spanish catalogue,Celebrando Creatividad. The good news is that as Canadians we can order this stamp set as well as the other products in this catalogue. Prices may vary.
Flores Suaves is a set of 4, #112913, $24.95 and it just calls out for a collage type of card or background .The set includes a flower, butterfly, bee and script background. I love this set! It reminds me of an old favourtie stamp set, Botanicals, that Stampin’ Up! retired a few years ago. This set is a wonderful replacement.
Happy stamping!

This first card uses Kraft, Soft Suede and Not Quite Navy. I stamped the background with VersaMark, Soft Suede and Not Quite Navy and then used a dauber to colour in the images a bit. Over the background, I sprayed the Log Cabin Smooch Spritz Spray. Next, I stamped the flower in Soft Suede and coloured it in with inks. I distressed the edges with the Cutter Kit before layering onto the other cardstocks. Finally, I added the Elementary Ribbon Originals in Not Quite Navy and a Kraft Corduroy Button tied on with Linen Thread. I think this is my favourite of the two cards.
Stamps: Flores Suaves
Ink: Not Quite Navy, Soft Suede, VersaMark
Paper: Not Quite Navy, Soft Suede, Kraft
Other: Kraft Corduroy Buttons, Elementary Ribbon Originals, Linen thread, Cutter Kit, Stampin’ Dimensionals, Sponge Daubers, Log Cabin Smooch Spritz Spray
This card is much simpler. I stamped with Basic Black ink on Whisper White cardstock and introduced the Melon Mambo only in the cardstock. I punched a 1″ circle into the flower on the Whisper white cardstock and lined up a second image on Melon Mmabo cardstock right behind it. The frame was created with the 1″ and 1-1/4″ circle punches. Basic Black satin ribbon is the finishing touch.

Don’t think it, ink it!
Both of these cards are gorgeous! Thanks so much for sharing the details. I can’t wait to “case” them 🙂
Dar,
I’m a new member to this whole wonderful process. Although I love both of the cards that you did, the soft subtle colours of the first card just jump out at me. It is a card I can see myself making and, more importantly, sending to someone I care about. I enjoy nature and can certainly see incorporating this stamp set into many future projects.
As I’m not familiar with using the products yet, I think I would try to stay with the colours that you used … not quite navy with the soft suede. They’re a great combination on the first card!
