Sneak Peek Alert!
As a Stampin’ up! demonstrator, I can pre-order select products from the 2010-2011 New Idea Book & Catalogue that will be available in just a couple of weeks.
These two cards showcase one of the new stamps set called Friends Never Fade and a coordinating designer series paper, Greenhouse Gala. Although the layouts are the same for both cards and I used the same stamp set and paper, the finished cards are so different. Scroll down to see a closer view of each card and a few more details.
So, which is your favourite? Please leave a comment and let me know.

My husband said this card reminded him of Wedgwood.
Using only one colour, Baja Breeze, I choose a designer series paper from Greenhouse Gala that repeats the design of the Friends Never Fade stamp. I love how Stampin’ Up! matches their products. Does Baja Breeze looks familiar to you? This was an In Color a couple of years ago now returning to the Subtles Collection of colours.
I used Whisper White grosgrain ribbon and brads to add a few more details to this card.
The new Big Shot embossing folder I used behind the strip of paper is called Vintage Wallpaper. You will definitley want to add this folder to your collection.

This card has a much brighter feel to it.
The colours used here are Daffodil Delightful, Pear Pizzazz and Pumpkin Pie. And did you notice the new 1/8″ Taffeta ribbon in Daffodil Delight?
Using another image from Friends Never Fade stamped in Daffodil Delight ink and a more colourful pattern from the Greenhouse Gala designer series paper really makes this card stand out.

Don’t think it, ink it!
Just saw this and my favorite is the yellow card (even though Baja Breeze is one of my favorite colors!). I just like the variety of colors, and they make me feel happy! Thanks for sharing both cards. I love to see examples of same layout/stamps/DSP –> totally different card!
Just lovely!
Wow, what a great card! Baja Breeze is my fav colour and I love your card. Thanks for sharing both cards!
I love the blue…very soft and subtle.
I love the yellow card. Daffodil delight is such a bright and happy color. It’s fun and happy and I’d love to give a card like that to a friend.
