Some cards are definitely more fun to create than others. I don’t know if it was because this card came together easily or because I got to use lots of new products but whatever the reason this card is a new favorite.
I choose Early Espresso, Baja Breeze and Crumb Cake as the color combination for this card. I stamped a background of small butterflies for the card in the same colors with the Papillon Potpourri stamp set (wood 123757, clear 123759).
After folding the Crumb Cake card in half, I trimmed one inch off the front and added a Baja Breeze strip embossed with the new Delicate Designs Folders (127023) for the Big Shot. Next, I used a length of the new Early Espresso 1/4″ Stitched Grosgrain Ribbon (126871) to pull the card together.
Mounted on the ribbon are Baja Breeze punched butterflies with Papillon Potpourri stamped butterflies layered on top. Both were punched with the new Elegant Butterfly punch (127526) that coordinates so well with the stamp set. Pearls (119247) add an accent to the butterflies.
Don’tcha love the way the Papillon Potpourri stamp set and Elegant Butterfly punch go together. A definite must have.
