I really, really wanted to use the new Champagne Glimmer Paper on a card for my Christmas Card class last week. So I made this one. Champagne Glimmer Paper – even the name sounds rich and indulgent, doesn’t it?.

To make this card, I cut out the largest snowflake from Raspberry Ripple card stock and then cut out a second large snowflake from the Champagne Glimmer paper. I cut this snowflake in half and adhered it over the Raspberry Ripple snowflake.

The two smaller snowflakes were cut out of Whisper White card stock and centered over the large snowflake and glued with Mini Glue Dots. A large Pearl Basic Jewel in the middle completed the snowflake. 

The “Noel” greeting is from the Greeting of the Season stamp set and stamped in Raspberry Ripple ink on Whisper white card stock. I notched the right edge with the 1-1/4″ square punch and attached it just hanging off the edge of the card. I liked this look and it still fits in an envelope.
