Reason for the Season Painted Poinsettia

I love the vibrant poinsettia on this card. And it was so easy to make.

I simply stamped the flower outline from the Reason for the Season stamp set and embossed it with gold embossing powder. Then, I stamped the inside flower with Cherry Cobbler ink – isn’t lining up the stamps so much easier with photopolymer sets?

To make the flower bolder, I used an aqua painter filed with water and gently went over the flower to spread the ink a bit. The leaves were then coloured with the same aqua painter and Wild Wasabi ink.

With a gold Sharpie marker, I coloured various sized Pearls and added them to the card including the center of the flower.
