If you will be hand delivering your cards, why not replace the envelope with a vellum Mini Treat Bag made with the Stampin’ Up! Thinlit from the 2015 Occasions catalogue.
I used two of the available Sale-a-bration items for each of these mini treat bag and card sets – the Sheer Perfection Designer Vellum Stack and the In Color Accessory Pack.
This first card set features Lost Lagoon a new 2014-2016 In Color.
The Mini treat Bags were made from Vellum card stock and embellished. I found it best to adhere the bags together with mini glue dots as they showed through the least.
The Mini Treat Bags are a little smaller than a traditional medium envelope so my finished card size is 5″ x 3-1/2″, a perfect fit for the treat bag.
I colored behind the vellum with a marker since the design was so detailed. You need to allow the inks time to dry before assembling your projects. The butterfly was stamped on vellum and punched out with the Elegant Butterfly Punch.
The greetings are from the A Dozen Thoughts stamp set.
For this Mini Treat Bag and Card set, I colored behind the Sheer Perfection Designer Vellum with daubers using Blackberry Bliss, Melon Mambo and Hello Honey inks.
The buttons and twine are both from the In Color Accessory Pack, free during Sale-a-bration which ends March 31st.
I used the Circles Collection Framelits to cut out the circles and then scored them in half to wrap around the bag.
For this set, I used BlackBerry Bliss, another 2014-2016 In Color as the main color.
To get started with the five new In Colors – Blackberry Bliss, Lost Lagoon, Hello Honey, Mossy Meadow and Tangelo Twist, I recommend purchasing the card stock and classic ink pads kit.
It’s time to sale-a-brate! Until March 31st, you can choose one free item for every $60 ordered.
