To make this card, I used the Fancy Flower Punch twice – once in Daffodil Delight cardstock and once in the Sweet Stitches designer series paper. I crumpled up the flowers and then adhered them to another patterned piece of Sweet Stiches designer series paper that I had already layered onto Early Espresso cardstock and added Wild Wasabi stems and leaves. The leaves were also punched from the Fancy Flower punch and then cut down with scissors. I also crumpled up the leaves before adding then to the card.
I wrapped Early Espresso 5/8″ grosgrain ribbon around this piece and added a length of the Pompom Trim in Daffodil Delight on top. The Pompom Trims are so cute! You need to add one of these to your order!
Next, I stamped the “true friend” greeting onto Crumb Cake cardstock with Early Espresso ink. Then, I punched it out with the 1″ circle punch and added it to the card with a dimensional. Finally, I then made an Early Espresso button with the Sweet Buttons embosslit and added it to the card with a dimensional after adding a bow of linen thread.
This card is probably more shabby chic then most of my cards. Please leave a comment and let me know if you like it!
