Christmas Star

The more I create with the Christmas Star stamp, the more I love it. I think it is the size of the stamped star that makes it a new favorite. It is bigger than I thought it would be and fills up the card front so well. Just add a greeting and I am done.

For this card, I stamped the Christmas Star onto Whisper White cardstock and heat embossed with gold embossing powder. Next, I cut out the star and scored it on each of the five lines. I folded it so that the lines were higher and then adhered it to the card with glue dots. I added just a little bit of cotton padding behind the star so it keeps its height.

The card itself is Whisper White cardstock with Champagne Glimmer Paper and the greeting is from Greetings of the Season (Wood 128030, Clear 128033). Such a simple card. 

Yesterday at my Christmas Card class we discussed how the simple cards are often the most popular – both for the stamper and the recipient. I think this card definitely qualifies on both accounts.
