In my family, November means birthdays! We start celebrating on the 10th and go right thorugh to the 27th. The 28th if you include our puppy, which of course, we do.
Our challenge this year was to find a cake large enough to write eight names on it. The person in charge of buying the cake finally settled for only adding the names of the five kids. Personally, I think she was just too embarrassed to request all eight names!
So, I’m sure you can understand why my November brithday cards need to to be clean and simple. The cards shown today will go out in the mail for family and a friend and I still need a few more for another party on Saturday. Watch for more birthday card samples later this week for the rest of my family.
For this card, I used my Decor wheel. I really like this pattern. I added a Basic Pearl in the center of each design after stamping and the card was almost finished. Talk about simple stamping!
I added a background piece of the Rich Razzleberry paper from the Brights Patterns Designer Paper Stack and a stamped “Happy Brithday” greeting from the Curty Cute stamp set and I was done!
BONUS: All orders of $75 or more placed with me by November 30, 2010 will receive free shipping. Please place your order with me by e-mail or phone to 780.472.8200 or toll free to 1.866.472.8207. Thanks!
