I have so many cards I want to make with this stamp set, Simple Stems, that I don’t even put it away anymore. It has gained a permanent spot on my stamping table and that is where it’s gonna stay.
I love all of these images individually but together – wow! Collage stamping has always been a favorite technique of mine and this set lends itself so well with the bold images. When making your collage of images, I recommend that you always stamp the largest image first. I usually start with three impressions of each stamp working my way down in size and then go back and fill in any white spaces with one of the smaller images if needed.
The other thing I appreciated about this card is that it only uses Whisper White card stock so it is an economical card to make. I cut the smaller piece to 3-1/2″ x 4-1/2″, stamped it and then cut it into 1-1/2″ strips before adhering to the card. The inks are the 2013-2015 In Colors.
