Vintage Vogue. Doesn’t the name say it all?
This oh, so lovely set is just right for making “take it up a notch” cards quickly. I usually shy away from cards where alot of cutting out of images is required. These flowers were really forgiving though and although I did oops, I just covered it up with another flower. Shh! Don’t tell.
I love all of the stamps in this set and I love the matching wheel. See them both on page 26 – 27 of the Occasions Mini catalogue. You gotta get this set!
And if you want more ideas, Register today for my Vintage Vogue class on February 24th and make 5 projects using this elegant stamp set.

This “almost monochromatic” card was so quick and easy to make using the new Occasions Mini stamp set, Garden From the Heart on page 9.
After stamping the greeting in the bottom right corner with Basic Black Classic ink, I ran the Sahara Sand cardstock through the Big Shot with one of the patterns from the Texture Plates Kit #4. The impression left on the paper helps make the card look finished.
Next, I stamped the main image on Whisper White cardstock with the Basic Black Classic ink and adhered the cardstock to a slightly larger layer of Basic Black cardstock. A small loop of the Basic Black Satin Ribbon was glued behind this piece in the top left corner. Assemble to finish.
This card looks even better in person when you can really see the texture on the Sahara Sand cardstock. I know this stamp set is one I will be reaching for again and again.

It’s so simple to make cards when you use a Stampin’ Up! designer series paper as a background. Here I used the Holiday Lounge DSP.
I layered the Holiday Lounge paper onto Ruby Red cardstock and inserted Ruby Red brads from the Earth Elements set into holes made with the paper piercing tool.
Next, I stamped the greeting from the Sparkly & Bright stamp set in the bottom right corner with Ruby Red ink. After creating ovals with my Big Shot die-cut machine, I stamped the Sparkly & Bright Santa in Ruby Red ink onto a die-cut oval and layered it onto a larger oval of Ruby Red cardstock. This is a great stamp set for cards, tags, and so much more. I love that the greeting is included.

I can’t stop using my Shimmer Paints. I looove them all!
On this card, I dipped a dauber into Frost White Shimmer Paint and applied it to the Groom Specialty paper by rubbing in circles (instead of dabbing). It dried quite quickly.
Then I stamped an image from Embrace Life – $34.95, set of 5, #114958 – with Basic Black ink onto Whisper White cardstock. I added a greeting from Fundamental Phrases in Basic Black and coloured the flower with the Bermuda Bay and Basic Black markers. Three black brads from the Vintage Brads assortment complete the stamped piece.
I added three lengths of ribbon in wide Basic Black grosgrain, Bermuda Bay grosgrain and Basic Black grosgrain to the card by adhering the ribbon on the back of the Bermuda Bay Cardstock. As an added embellishment, I tied a small knot with the Basic Black grosgrain at the side of the card. To finish the card, I added the stamped image using dimensionals for a little bit of height.
I really like the look of this card. It showcases simple stamping but the Shimmer Paint on the Groom paper makes it really special.

I needed a make a few small thank you gifts and wanted them to be quick and easy. And I wanted to use my new “Thanks” embosslit die for the Big Shot.
I used small pieces of designer series paper in various colours and scraps of cardstock to make these little pouches that hold a rubber stamp and a piece of chocolate in a small flat cello bag. To finish, I embellished with ribbon and brads.
I hope those who receive one will like them!
