Art Gallery Stamp Set and Floral Gallery Dies Bundle

Bumblebee, Flirty Flamingo, Poppy Parade and Old Olive
The card base and layering piece were made using Bumblebee card stock. I embossed the layer with the Painted Texture 3D Embossing Folder to add texture. It’s in the name after all.
Remember to remove the backing from the acetate
The backing on the Golden Garden Designer Specialty Acetate should be removed before assembling the card. An easy way to remove the backing is to attach a piece of scrap card stock with a glue dot to the corner and gently pull.
To ensure that every bit of the acetate would be used, I cut the pieces to 4″ x 2″.

I stamped the flower in Flirty Flamingo ink and then over stamped with Poppy Parade ink. The stem and leaves image is stamped in Old Olive. The “thank you” greeting was also stamped in Poppy Parade. And I adhered the flower and the greeting to the card with dimensional for a bit of height.
Love the shape of the greeting? It’s a die that included in the Floral Gallery dies in this size and a larger size to fit the 9 different greetings.

Beautiful Friendship – stunning new In Colors and Flirty Flamingo
I was really looking forward to receiving the Beautiful Friendship stamp set and indulging in all the card making this set demands. Whether you stamp a single image or create an entire background like I did on this card, you know you are going to be making gorgeous cards.
Flirty Flamingo ink was added to four of the new In Colors for 2019-2021 – Pretty Peacock, Terracotta Tile, Seaside Spray and Rococo Rose – to make this vibrant stamped piece.
These colors are definitely new favourites but it is hard to choose just one. I love using them all together as they coordinate so well. And Flirty Flamingo fit right in.
And speaking of favourites, I have to recommend the Stitched Nested Labels. There are so many ways to use these new dies. As a greeting, a background for a stamped image or even as a layering piece for the card. Or all three together.

I added a few Pretty Peacock Faceted Dots to the card as a little bit extra. The 2019-2021 In Color Faceted Dots include 18 dots in each of the five new colours for a total of 90. I am using them so much on so many cards and projects.

I was so drawn to this set of dies – especially the dandelion – and couldn’t wait to start making cards with the Sweet Silhouette dies. I also really like the uniqueness of the included sentiments – inspire, adventure, forever.
When planning this card, it was a no brainer to design this card around Poppy Parade as it features in the colour-washed background I used from the coordinating designer series paper called See A Silhouette.
And the card needed a little something more. So, the Brick & Mortar 3D embossing folder was used to create a background with lots of texture for the layering piece on the bottom of the card.
I also wanted to make sure the dandelion really was the focus of the card by creating a frame with the Stitched Rectangles dies. If you don’t own these already, you really should. This set of dies can be used to create lots of layering pieces as well as frames and more.
All that was left was to embellish the card. I coloured a few Basic Rhinestones with the Basic Black Dark Blends marker and added various sized rhinestones to the card.

To adhere the cut out “inspire” to the card, I used the Multipurpose Liquid glue. Place a few small dots on the back of the word varying the placement so all the edges will adhere. Allow the glue to rest for a minute or so. Then gently add the greeting to the card and allow to dry.

Don’t you love all the layers that make up this card?
I recommend cutting out the frame first from your cardstock and then positioning the cardstock into the embossing folder to add the detail to the frame.
Behind the greeting, I added texture with one of the included stamps and Crumb Cake ink. I wanted to background image to be subtle so I stamped off once or twice onto scrap paper.
I added a punched out daisy made with the Medium Daisy punch to the card as a corner element and embellished with sequins and faceted dots.
The card uses Rococo Rose and Terracotta Tile in addition to Crumb Cake. The new In Colors are quickly becoming favourites and are all featured in the Woven Threads Designer Series Paper package.
