Phil, the kids and I snuck away to Banff for the weekend. It was a last minute decision but since the kids had Friday off from school and I set my own hours as a Stampin’ Up! demonstrator, we packed up and headed out of town.
The weather was cool but there was no rain and the kids actually wore shorts a couple of the days. We hiked, we swam, we had fabulous meals and we walked around town and enjoyed being “away from it all.” We love spending time in Banff and this trip was no exception. As you can see by the photo I posted, Banff is so beautiful and serene you can’t help but relax.
As we were getting ready to head back home, our van decided not to cooperate. We ended up staying an extra night, then renting a car to drive home. And tomorrow we have to head back to Banff to pick our van up.
So, my schedule this week is completely out of whack. Technique Tuesday will have to wait until Thursday and I will have to find time to sneak in some stamping so I have new cards to share with you here.
Fortunately, I can work on my laptop as we travel.
