I love quick and easy cardmaking. And I love Chocolate Chip as a neutral colour to build a card around.
This card is simple stamping with only one image, the sleigh from the Wandering Words stamp set . This set also has an image for Valentines Day and for Fall, so it is a set you can use alot. See it on page 16 of the Holiday Mini.
I love the Tempting Turquoise paired with the Chocolate Chip. It really makes the card pop. But it just needed a little more embellishing so I added a Playground button with a clear Rhinestone brad in the center. Thread the prongs of the brad through the button hole and fold the prongs down. If needed, trim the prongs a bit with scissors so the button sits flat. Next, I glued a piece of Chocolate Chip ribbon from the Masterpiece Ribbon Originals down bunching the ribbon on the left side. To get this look, put down a strip of adhesive and then loop the ribbon and tack down. Don’t you love the scallops on this ribbon?

This is it! My first "traditional" Christmas card. My first card this year using red and green. And the set is call Christmas Classics – how appropriate is that?!
For this card, I used the Merry Moments dsp again. It’s amazing how often I create a card using materials that are already on my desk. Sometimes it pays to not put things away when you are finished. Or, at least that’s what I tell myself.
I love how Stampin’ Up! plans stamp sets to coordinate with other products like the punches. The bell in this set fits perfectly in the 1/2" circle punch to make it easy to highlight the image. I used Real Red in three placves on this card – the punched bell, the ribbon and the brads. Enjoy!

I love cards in a single colour. For me, they are the easiest to create and seem to come together effortlessly.
Today, I decided I wanted to use the Mistletoe ribbon featured in the Holiday Mini catalogue. Because the ribbon is Old Olive, it was easy to select cardstock and papers to match. I added two Merry Moments designer series paper patterns and as I still had some embossed Whisper White strips created with the Petals-A-Plenty Impression Folder also in the Holiday Mini from this card, I used them as well. I stamped Dasher with Old olive ink, added my ribbon and my card was done. Quick and Easy!
