I was working on a few simple cards for a class recently and really wanted to use my new Perfect Mix stamp set. I love the images in this set and the fact that the greetings are part of some of the stamps.
I think I love to cook as much I love to stamp. And I love to try new recipes especially those for pasta or noodles. Yum!

This was my first card. Super simple in mostly black and white.
But then I started to wonder if it was too simple?
So I added colour using a Blender Pen and ink.
The colours are Pacific Point, Melon Mambo, Old Olive and Tangerine Tango.

Stamping with the Cake Crazy stamp set was just too much fun!
Where to start? Did I want a cake made entirely of words? A single candle or lots of candles? Stars or a bow?
There are so many options for layering that I just had to keep on creating to get different looks. The stamps are photopolymer so it’s easy to line them up.
After stamping the brighter colours, I added a third heat embossed layer.
I’ll share more samples at a later date but I was really impressed with the versatility of this stamp set. Masculine, Kids, even Wedding, this set has it all.

This was a super quick card to make pairing the Celebrations Duo Textured Impression Embossing Folders with the coordinating Happy Celebrations photopolymer stamp set. These two prodcuts definitely go together – you really can’t have one without the other.
With the Big Shot, I debossed the work “celebrate” onto Thick Whisper White cardstock and then overstamped the images. Since the word is actually indented into the cardstock, no ink covers up the greeting. I found that it really helped to stamp on the Stampin’ Pierce Mat for a crisp image. If you are a fan of photopolymer stamp sets, a softer surface like the mat under your cardstock can make a difference to the quality and evenness of the images.
I think it’s official – my favourite colour combination is Pool Party, Bermuda Bay and Island Indigo. I love, love, love these three blues together. And this card uses all three for both ink and paper.

Looking to make a fun “Bee” Day card?
This birthday card features Detailed Dragonfly Thinlits cut black bees on a Delightful Dijon background. The card was made with Smoky Slate as well as Silver Foil and Urban Underground Specialty Designer Series Paper. This color combination would work well for a masculine card.
The Urban Underground accessories I used on this card include the Washi Tape, Embellishments and Designer Series Paper.
The Hexagon Dynamic Textured Impressions Embossing Folder makes a great background for the bees.
