I really like the look of this card with two tone flowers from the Painted Petals stamp set.
After stamping the flowers in Calypso Coral ink and the stems in Wild Wasabi ink, I added a circle of Crushed Curry ink to the center of each flower with a sponge dauber. This muted the Calypso Coral ink and allows the Crushed Curry to show through.
The layers of card stock are Early Espresso, Crushed Curry, Wild Wasabi, Calypso Coral and Whisper White. On the Calypso Coral layer, I added a greeting also from Painted Petals in Early Espresso ink.
The Crushed Curry ribbon and Calypso Coral button are both from the Best Year Ever Accessory Pack exclusively available during Sale-a-bration 2015 on right now. I added a small bow of Early Espresso Baker’s Twine to tie all the colors together and to make the button look finished.
There are so many different looks that you can create with the Painted Petals stamp set. You can see two more samples I made here and here. I love the versatility of this stamp set and how easy it is to create unique cards every time you use it.

This clean and simple card was made with the Too Kind stamp set – an oldie but a favorite of mine.
The card uses Coastal Cabana and Pool Party to create a monochromatic card. The only embellishments are the folded 1-1/4″ circle punch over the greeting piece and the Itty Bitty Epoxy Stickers that I colored with my Coastal Cabana Blendabilites in the lightest color.

The weather here has been so warm and wonderful that it’s easy to forget that it’s only January and not spring. And if it’s only January, that means it’s time to start making cards for Valentine’s Day.
A color combination like this – Real Red, Basic Black, Smoky Slate and Whisper White – is great for any masculine and adult valentines you want to make.
To match the Basic Black card, I added designer series paper from Stacked With Love. These papers are black and white on one side and colored on the other. If you love black and white cards like I do, you need to order this paper stack.
Some simple stamping with the Hello Life photopolymer stamp set and a few rhinestones to embellish and the card is done.

The Basic Black card stock is cut to 11″ x 5-1/2″ and scored at 4-3/16″ (or just shy of 4-1/4″) and at 8-1/2″. The attached Basic Black rectangle is 4-1/4″ x 2″. Make sure you only apply adhesive to the top half of this piece.

I couldn’t believe how fast it was to make this Mini Treat Bag with the new thinlits dies from the Occasions catalogue. And how much fun I had.
There are so many different pieces in this set – hearts, stars and circles plus greetings and more. You can make a simple mini treat bag like this one or really dress it up.
For this mini treat bag, I chose the Lost Lagoon patterned paper from the 2014-2016 In Color Background Designer Series Paper Stack. The tag was made with the Angled Tag Topper punch and card stock cut from the thinlits that are included with the mini treat bag set. I picked stars but hearts and circles would have worked just as well. A bow of Whisper White Baker’s Twine and the tag was ready to add to the treat bag. I attached it with stampin’ dimensionals as I wanted to top to be open. To close the bag instead, you can staple the bag closed or use a small clothespin to hold it shut.

Too stinkin’ cute! That’s what everyone says when they see the new Berry Basket from Stampin’ Up! This new Bigz die for the Big Shot die-cutting machine is from the new Occasions 2015 catalogue.
The baskets are very easy to make. For more details, please see the video below.
For this project, I made the Berry Basket from Crumb Cake card stock and added a Calypso Coral designer series paper bow. The bow is made with the Bow Builder Punch which is also new.
And what fits perfectly inside? Mini cards with matching envelopes thanks to the Envelope Liners framelits. I’ve always enjoyed making 3″x3″ cards since they come together so quickly. I could have made them all the same but decided to mix them up. The cards are all slightly different but have the same Crumb Cake and Calypso Coral color theme with the Elegant Butterfly punch and pearls as embellishments.
This little basket really is just too cute!
The mini cards fit perfectly in the Berry Basket. I tied a length of the Calypso Coral ribbon from the Best Year Ever accessory pack (free with a $60 order during Sale-a-bration) around the cards to dress them up a bit.

Today is my mom’s birthday and I wanted to create an extra special card for an extra special lady.
I was working on some fancy fold cards recently and decided to create a stair step card. I like making these cards because you create each panel and then build the card. The base uses 12″ x 12″ card stock. Although I don’t use this size of card stock frequently, I like to always have some at hand. A great choice is the Neutrals 12″ x 12″ assorted package.
On the front panel, I added the “Happy Birthday” greeting and then over stamped with the beehive stamp. All images are from the Butterfly Basics stamp set. The Whisper White layer is 4″ x 1-1/4″ and the Coastal Cabana layer is 4-1/8″ x 1-3/8″.
The middle panel is the Irresistibly Yours designer series paper sponged with Pistachio Pudding and Coastal Cabana inks. A Whisper White butterfly cut out with the thinlits die and colored with the dark Coastal Cabana Blendabilities completes this layer. The Irresistibly Yours piece is 3″ x 4″ and the Coastal Cabana is 3-1/4″ x 4-1/4″.
To finish the card, I added a collage of images and burnished inks on Whisper White. This piece is 3-3/4″ x 5. The Pistachio Pudding is 4″ x 5-1/4″ and the Coastal Cabana is cut to 4-1/4″ x 5-1/2″. This card will fit into a medium envelope.

This is a full view of the last panel. I love the collage look made by stamping and sponging. I used Coastal Cabana, Pistachio Pudding and Sahara Sand inks.
Since I thought the panel needed a bit more color. I stamped the small butterfly image onto Coastal Cabana card stock with Sahara Sand ink and punched out the image with the Elegant Butterfly punch. Remembering the odd rule in photography – that the eye prefers odd numbers like three, five, seven, etc – I added three butterflies.
Cut the 12″ x 12″ Sahara Sand card stock to 4-1/4″ x 12″.
Score at 1-1/2″, 3″, 5″, 7″ and 9-1/2.”
