Corner Garden with the Stained Glass Technique

The Corner Garden stamp was another instant favorite from the new 2014-2015 catalogue. I had been hoping for a large, beautiful image that fills up the card and could be colored. And this is it!

For this card I used the “simple” Stained Glass technique. There are lots of techniques that use the name stained glass but this is probably the easiest. Simply stamp the image on vellum and heat emboss. I used white embossing powder but any color will work.

Then turn the stamped image over and colour on the back with markers. I used the new In Colors for this card. Let dry for just a moment and adhere to white cardstock so the stained glass effect is more visible. And that’s it. I told you it was easy.

I finished the card with a greeting and some Blackberry Bliss accents including cardstock and stitched ribbon.

The Corner Garden stamp is a great addition to my collection of images and I know I will use it a lot. If you have been looking for a stamp like this, order yours today.
