Did you ever think that attending a baby shower via Zoom would be a thing? Although we aren’t celebrating like we used to, I still wanted to take a moment and create a welcome baby card for the new parents. And hope that greeting the baby in person will happen in the near future.
And aren’t the animals included in the Hippo Happiness stamp set adorable? If hippos don’t bring you happiness, you can choose a sheep, a horse or even a unicorn to add to your cards.

Hippo Happiness Stamp Set and Hippo & Friends Dies
The dies that are included in Hippo & Friends Dies also include some frames that I used on both of these cards. There are three unique shapes with multiple layers to each shape.
Used with the included animals or on their own, these frame dies make easy backgrounds for cards by matching the card stock layer or contrasting as below.
I wanted this card to be bright and colorful so I selected Gorgeous Grape, Bermuda Bay and Granny Apple Green. for my stamped images and card stock. For the hippo, I stamped the body and then stamped off once for the face allowing for the fainter color.
The colors used for this card are Smoky Slate, Misty Moonlight and Bumblebee. A little more subtle than the hippo but this friendly sheep still stands out. Especially with the balloons. All the little accents – balloons, butterflies, a flower and more – add so much fun to making cards with this stamp set.
I added some Neutrals 6″ x 6″ designer series paper and assorted greetings from the Well Said stamp set and Well Written Dies to complete this card.
