Snowbody Better Christmas Card
Isn’t this Snowbody Better Christmas Card so stinkin’ cute? These snowman are dressed in their favorite hats and scarves and come bearing gifts. It may be cold and frosty outside, but the jovial group of snowmen in this Snowbody Better stamp set send nothing but warm wishes. This lighthearted crew has cold hands, warm hearts, and an image that’s perfect for coloring.
There is something so relaxing about coloring and it’s a great in front of the TV activity as you watch your favorite shows or movies. For this card, I colored with Stampin’ Blends in Mossy Meadow, Real Red, Pumpkin Pie, Granny Apple Green, Bermuda Bay and Highland Heather. Oh, and the little bird that tops it all off is colored in Pool Party.
This would be a great stamp set to let kids show their artistic flair. Stamp the images and color with crayons or pencil crayons for fun and easy cards that are truly one of a kind. And who wouldn’t want to receive one?

Snowbody Better by Stampin’ Up!
I cut a piece of Basic White cardstock to 5″ x 3-3/4″ and stamped the snowman using Tuxedo Black Memento ink recommended when using Stampin’ Blends. This piece was layered onto polka dot paper from the Heartwarming Hugs 12″ x 12″ designer series paper that measures 5-1/4″ x 4″ and then onto a Basic White Thick cardstock base.
The notched ends for the 1/2″ wide greeting were made with the Banners Pick A Punch. This punch can make notches as above or the opposite direction. You can punch banners in two designs, three widths and any length.
To finish the card, I added a few Real Red gems from the Wonderful Gems assortment.

Painted Poppies Pastel Card
Painted Poppies in Pastels
A great, no mess way to add colour to a stamped image is with the Soft Pastels, new to the catalogue this year. I stamped an image from Painted Poppies in Black StazOn Ink and then simply added the colour. This stamp set will be on sale tomorrow – keep reading for the details.
To finish the card, I used a greeting from the Best Year stamp set and layered with Basic Black and Poppy Parade cardstocks.
I really simple card with an artistic pop of colour.

Soft Pastel Assortment
The Soft Pastels Assortment from Stampin’ Up! includes 8 vibrant colours including Coastal Cabana, Daffodil Delight, Gorgeous Grape, Granny Apple Green, Mango Melody, Mossy Meadow, Night of Navy and Poppy Parade. That works out to less than $2 per colour and the options for colouring, adding texture and creating backgrounds are endless.
For this card, I used a Water Painter to pick up a little Poppy Parade from the pastel and coloured the poppies. The water helps to set the pastel and prevent smearing. If you are concerned about the colour staying, you can apply a sealant or use a hairspray with a fine spray to seal the pastels but I didn’t think it was needed.

Whimsical Trees Stamp Set and Christmas Trees Dies
Whimsical Tree Christmas Card
The Whimsical Trees Bundle makes amazing Christmas cards with a fun and festive look. Combine the bundle with the Whimsy & Wonder designer series paper and Blushing Bride Frayed Ribbon to create cards with an unconventional colour scheme that I love!
If fun and festive is the look you want, the colours included in this Collections are Blushing Bride, Crumb Cake, iridescent, Mint Macaron, Misty Moonlight, Mossy Meadow, Polished Pink. The designer series paper is two sided with Christmas themes on one side and a pattern you can use year round on the other side.
And I am so happy to see the return of Silver Foil in the holiday catalogue. These is just something about pink and silver together.
Whether you choose to stay traditional in red and green, create in white and gold for an elegant look or go modern and unconventional as I did, this bundle creates all the trees you need.
The Clearance Rack was updated today with special prices on retired items including some from last years holiday mini. All items are while supplies last.

Whimsy & Wonder Suite Collection
There are 13 dies in the Christmas Trees Dies that allow you to create a festive forest of trees in all shapes and sizes. The Whimsical Trees stamp set is a set of 10 and includes trees sized to match the dies as well as four greetings.
I placed the greeting along the vertical edge so the trees could show off a bit more. I added a few silver stars which is one of the included dies as well as a an iridescent snowflakes from Wonderful Snowflakes. These pre-cut snowflakes are a great way to fill in some background or can be the star of the show if you opt not to add any images or dies.

Playful Alphabet
Say Anything with the Playful Alphabet Dies
Never be at a loss for words with the Playful Alphabet Dies as you can express any sentiment you like letter by letter. I kept it simple on this masculine birthday card with just one word, DUDE. This is my go to card for teenage boys.
In Playful Alphabet, there are 58 dies including duplicates of often used letters. I like to apply an adhesive sheet to the back of my card stock to make positioning of the words easy. When cutting out the letters with the Stampin’ Cut & Emboss Machine, remember to keep an eye out for the little pieces of punctuation

Biggest Wish Stamp Set
The colours used on this card are Night of Navy and Crumb Cake. I stamped the greeting inside the card and then repeated it on the envelope. With the Biggest Wish stamp set, you can opt to overlap the greetings as I did on the envelope or stamp one below as I did on the card. I really like the size of the words in this set and the stamping options.
