This Spotlight on Nature bundle is like having a little piece of the outdoors right at your crafting table. Create a quick and easy card using just the leaves and featuring Shy Shamrock.
Measurements:
Shy Shamrock 8-1/2″ x 5-1/2″ folded for the card base and 1″ x 4″ for the greeting layer
Basic White 5-1/4″ x 4″ and 7/8″ x 4″ for the greeting
DSP 1″ x 4″ for the greeting layers – two strips with different patterns
To make the card:
Fold the Shy Shamrock card in half to make the card base.
Stamp the leaves onto the Basic White layer with Shy Shamrock ink. Adhere the layer to the card front.
Stamp the greeting onto the strip of Basic White card stock with the Shy Shamrock ink.
Layer the strips of Shy Shamrock, two DSPs and stamped greeting and cut at an angle on the left side.
Offset the strips and adhere together. Add to the card with additional adhesive.
To finish the card, all three Resin Dots as shown.

I had so much fun making my gnome card. I picked up Pacific Point, Bermuda Blue and Balmy Blue from the Storybook Gnomes Designer Series Paper.
Did you notice the Dots & Spots Die in the background? This die adds a simple pattern to cardstock and paper to create a background. Personally, I like the edges cut mid dot so this piece measures 3-3/8″ x 4-3/4″.

One of my favourite embellishments are the Iridescent Rhinestone Basics Jewels. These jewels add a subtle highlight and go with everything, I added one to the center of the snowflake and a couple just above the greeting.
I used Mini Dimensionals between the card and the Dots & Spots Die cut as well as under the greeting. And can you spot the last dimensional I used? This gnome’s nose is raised up just a little from the rest of the card. So cute!
