I love how bright and vibrant this card is.
And with a little patience, it is easy to make. I used an aqua painter to apply ink refills to the watercolor paper but a paint brush would work as well. Each color needs to dry before you apply the next and if the paper gets too wet just use a paper towel to soak up the extra water. If the color is too light you can apply more.
The colors I used are Tempting Turquoise, Daffodil Delight, Tangerine Tango, Melon Mambo and Pistachio Pudding.
Once the entire card is dry, I stamped the Watercolor Thank You stamp onto the card with Memento Tuxedo Black ink.
I really wanted blakc twine on the card so I colored Whisper white Baker;s Twine by runing it over the Memento Black pad while holding it own with a dauber. This needs to dry as well before applying to the card.
It is soimportant to always buy refills when you purchase ink pads so you can keep the pads in top condition for stamping and so you can use just the refills for a variety of techniques.

Quick Tip: Apply the refills to an acrylic block

I really wish you could see this card in person because the texture just doesn’t come though in the photos.
To make the front of this card, I inked up the stamps from the Kinda Eclectic stamp set with Crushed Curry ink and then added Perfect Plum, Island indigo and Old Olive inks to the stamp with daubers. After huffing to re-moisten. I stamped the images onto the Whisper White card stock piece. After stamping all of the images and allowing them to dry completely, I used my VersaMark ink pad and applied ink over the top of the images using the direct to paper technique and avoiding going right to the edges. Next, I sprinkled clear embossing powder over the card front and with my finger, I roughed up the powder in a few places before heating with the heat gun.
I made the card itself by applying the same colors of ink to the Whisper White card stock and then repeated the process by applying VersaMark ink and clear embossing powder to the card itself before heat embossing.
The last step was to added a Crushed Curry ink butterfly – also embossed with clear embossing powder – and a pearl coloured with the Old Olive Blendabilities.
I hope the photo below gives a bit of a better view of the finished card and how it shines.

I have to admit that “you made my day” is an expression that I use often. And now there is a stamp for that! This is a great sentiment to use for thank you cards and more. Remember, during Sale-a-bration 2015, you can choose one free item for each $60 spent and the Best Day Ever stamp set is one of the Sale-a-bation options.
This card was really quick to make but the addition of gold accents took it up a notch from the basic. I stamped the flower from Petal Potpourri in Coastal Cabana ink and added a Whisper White Craft ink center.
After allowing the inks to dry completely – application of the embossing buddy helped – I added the greeting and circle in Encore Gold ink and heat embossed with gold powder.
To continue the gold theme, I added pieces of gold foil paper and gold foil vellum to the left of the card underneath a strip of Coastal Cabana card stock.
Metallics are big right now and this card looks very contemporary with just a hint of elegance. Enjoy!

Vintage looking cards are always among my favourites. The dictionary defines vintage as out of date and old fashioned. To me, vintage means pearls and lace, burnished inks and card stock that looks aged.
For this card, I started with a Crumb Cake card and added layers of Rich Razzleberry and Blushing Bride card stock. To age the Rich Razzleberry piece, I wet it and then scrunched it up. After laying flat and letting it dry completely, I stamped the leaves randomly on the card stock in the same Rich Razzleberry ink color.
I added Crumb Cake ink to the White Filter Paper and added it behind the turned down corner. Images from the Choose Happiness stamp set were stamped randomly on the Naturals Ivory card stock in the same ink colours as the card stock – Crumb Cake, Rich Razzleberry and Blushing biride.
To complete the card, I added a greeting and pearls as well as velvet ribbon and a white resin flower from the Artisan Embellishment Kit. You won’t believe all the elegant pieces in this kit for only $12.50.

Every celebration needs balloons! And it’s so easy to add balloons to your cards when the Celebrate Today Photopolymer stamp set and Balloons Framelits Bundle does all the work.
To make the balloons, I coloured on the back of vellum card stock with a sponge dauber using Crushed Curry, Bermuda Bay and Calypso Coral inks. I found that I got better coverage rubbing in a circle than just back and forth.
After cutting out the balloons with the framelit, I stamped the stars image form the stamp set onto the balloons with Silver Encore ink and heat embossed with silver embossing powder.
I stamped the greeting with Memento Tuxedo black ink before adhering the balloons with mini glue dots.
To finish the card, i added the balloon strings with the thin tip of a Basic Black marker and a few Basic Rhinestones.
Easy peasy and fun for kids and grown ups!
